Commitment
Our standard.
Orion Contingency Group Inc. intends this website to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, and other assistive technology. Our conformance target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We serve government customers, and we hold our own public materials to the same standard our customers are held to under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Measures
What this site does.
- Every page provides a skip-to-content link, a single main heading, and a logical heading order with no skipped levels.
- All text and interface colors meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast minimums, verified against the published values in our stylesheet.
- Every form field has a visible, programmatically associated label. Required fields are identified in text, not by symbol or color alone.
- All functionality is available from a keyboard, and keyboard focus is visibly indicated on every interactive element.
- The site respects the reduced-motion preference set in your operating system or browser.
- Content is built with semantic HTML and functions without JavaScript.
- Pages remain usable at 200 percent zoom and reflow on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
Status
Conformance status and limitations.
We assess this website as partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most content conforms, and the items below are the known exceptions.
- This site's conformance is currently based on structural review during development (semantic markup, contrast verification, keyboard navigation, and automated linting). A full manual audit with screen readers and other assistive technology has not yet been performed; we plan to complete one and update this statement accordingly.
- Documents provided on request, such as our capability statement PDF, may not yet be fully tagged for screen reader use. Ask us for an accessible format and we will provide one.
